CAYSA CARES
CAYSA CARES is an event that occurs in conjunction with the annual statewide training symposium. The CAYSA CARES program partners with various local, community service organizations to offer financial, time and other donations to insure they can continue to meet the needs of the communities they serve. These organizations hail from all across New York State, and serve many of the communities our CAYSA membership live and work within. It is a unique program as it introduces NY CAYSA members to a variety of community service projects that are happening in their own backyards. CAYSA's involvement in each community service project helps to improve the community itself and aids in the reduction of crime by supporting community service projects that are often inneed of funding to remain viable. The CASYA CARES program also strengthens the ties our dual chapter has with the public, and demonstrates that our professions are not just about prison and crime. New York CAYSA is proud of the CAYSA CARES program, and its proven history of giving back to the community.
